What would everyone think of king Afton?

After many years of the animatronics killing nightguards, they finally caught William and killed him. But as you know from my ask about Goldie and Cassidy, Cassidy lied saying it wasn't him. When humans found out the animatronics were sentient, they locked all animatronics underground, including all the nightguards that were stuffed. Which meant Afton was still around to mess with the animatronics and the dead kids. When animatronics started getting the hang of having a society, springtrap (as how he went by in his suit. It became common among stuffed humans to make up names for themselves instead of using their human names) became the town nuisance. He basically caused trouble just get reactions, everyone just ignored him and pissed him off.

A few years later, about a week after Golden Freddy's and Cassidy's death, the guards were waiting for orders from king Fazbear, Bonnie was subcoming to guilt and depression seeing the situation with Goldie and Cassi as his fault, the Marionette was mourning the death of another child in her room, and Freddy was in his palace thinking. He honestly didn't know how to feel in the moment of their deaths, so he just kept thinking about it knowing the should feel something, like sad or angry.

Springtrap snuck inside the palace, almost too easily. When he was sneaking in, a human fell down. Freddy went to investigate, with springtrap following behind in the shadows. The human that fell sorta looked like Cassidy, except she had gold blonde hair, but that was the only difference. It was like the world wanted to play a joke on Freddy, "hey look!!! A little girl that looks like both of your now dead friends!!! Isn't that funny?!!?!" How dare the world. Before he could even think, all the feelings he should have felt flooded through him, the sadness of loosing the people he loves, the guilt of being unable to prevent their deaths, and the anger towards humanity for killing people he held close to his soul. Without thinking, he projected his anger towards humans on the child, and mercilessly killed her.

He was brought back to his senses when William started laughing and applauding the show before him. Freddy then attacked him, nearly killing him before realizing in this moment he was no better than him. After this realization, he declared war on humanity. The Marionette ran away back to the ruins never to be heard from again, and springtrap was made into the new royal adviser. Freddy hired him as royal adviser in hopes that maybe Afton could teach him to be more merciless.

The only reason why he was so merciless as a killer was because Chara made him think he was insane, and he was a player's puppet. He lived his own life so many times, why would it matter if he killed people if he knew they were going to be fine when he wakes up yesterday? Now Chara became dormant, and the players stopped controlling him. Kinda ironic how he's now feeling powerless despite now having complete control of his body.

He began to feel regret for everything his done. The many people he's killed, the many people he let stay dead. He was no longer above his actions. He was no longer above consequences. This made him fall into despair and depression.

After years of being royal adviser, Freddy gave him a title of king, trusting him enough to rule beside him as brothers. After he was crowned, him and Fazbear became closer, like actual brothers.

But they had disagreements, like all siblings do. Except their disagreements had to do with life and death. Freddy would argue with Afton over killing humans, he'd say that he needed to kill humans and collect their souls in order to set them all free. Afton would argue saying that everyone had already suffered enough, and that more children didn't deserve to die. When ever human children fall down and leave the Marionette's protection in the ruins, he would try and protect the children from Freddy, in hopes that he might be able to talk him out of killing them. Usually the kids flat out give up and let themselves be killed. Afton stopped trying to protect the kids after a 5 year old gave up her life to Fazbear.

King Afton, with the help of doctor Bonnie, removed his suit, and rebuilt Springbonnie and Fredbear. Fredbear remembered how Afton used spring for murder, but thankfully Springbonnie didn't remember how he was used. He didn't even remember the surface, he just knew who he was, who his brother Fredbear was, and that Afton was one of the people that made him. Afton talked with Fredbear privately about how times had changed from 1987 to now, when Fredbear was shut down to when he was rebuilt. Fredbear didn't remember the bite of 87, and his memories of the surface weren't any better. All he remembered was kids, the layout of the diner, and the stars he'd look at out the window.

Once Afton explained everything, leaving out the bite incident, Fredbear to forgive the poor corpse for everything he's done. He didn't trust him, he just forgave him. Fredbear and Springbonnie then left Afton's room where they were rebuilt and started living their own lives.

This Afton is a more forgivable, and melancholy version of Afton.

What would everyone in your AU think of King Afton?

First up, very interesting take, though now all the pressure of the “why did you kill” are put on Chara. The concept of Afton getting EXP from stuffing children into suits is wrecking me with laughter to be fully honest- this man must be buff- Everyone is a big number, but I can give you three main people, I think.

Marionette hates him- like all Williams. He doesn’t believe in redemption; he doesn’t believe in the concept of regret. Nobody ever regretted what happened to him, thus regret must be a hindering emotion at best- a liability at worst. Useless and hurtful. This William is pathetic! How can you go around killing children because of some fucking spirit?! And then being all regretful about it, as though it makes a difference?! Devaluing these murders even MORE! How much must he hate these children that he admits openly that his murders were pointless and soulless and now after decades something he would be taking back?! HOW DOES THAT HELP?! WHO?! HE DOESN’T DESERVE PITY. AND YOUR FREDDY, HE SHOULD HAVE KILLED HIM FOR GOOD! SO WHAT IF YOU ARE “EQUALLY” AS BAD?! IF TWO WRONGS MEET AND ONE KILLS THE OTHER, THEN WE HAVE AT LEAST ONE RIGHT! There is nothing more appalling to him than regretting the evil deeds, because then you say you did those evil deeds out of weakness and selfishness and nothing else came from it. Marion doesn’t regret killing the guards. Marion DOESN’T regret killing the guards! (My Marionette would make a much more ruthless ruler of the underground than both William and Freddy combined…) Fredbear is actually somewhat happy. He feels terrible for everything that happened until then and that the Marionette had to leave home because of William returning and becoming an advisor- and of course, he’s agonizing about the fact that another child had to die. But in the end, there’s some reassurance in William just being another puppet, suffering the circumstances and now working for redemption. The children are still here in some way after all, with this new technology- once it is perfected, everyone can live the life they wanted. All he hopes is that William will be a force of good this time around and for good this time. He shouldn’t have crumbled to the timeloop, but… … things like that are mindbreaking, certainly. Not being yourself is extremely scary. And how can you be sure you ARE yourself? If he would have the chance to say anything to Afton, then it’s to not give protecting the children. They need you. They need someone to stand up for them. No matter how pointless it seems or how often you fail, continuing to try is what matters. Stay determined. You owe them this after all- you have proven your ability to use what’s inside of you for destruction, make sure that it will become good permanently. You need to wake up every morning and choose to do the right thing. They need you. Both the living and the dead. Old Sport thinks he’s a funny fucker. As someone in the same shoes as him- well, without that evil spirit thing, but still- he sees his acting out and then doing a 180° as pretty hilarious. Like, sure, you go dude, reinvent yourself as this regretful somebody who wants to help, Old Sport gets it, he has done stuff like that too- but being all mopey and melancholic about it? Just move on! If you were in a loop, what does it matter? Reset and restart. You didn’t feel bad doing it, right? So why feel bad now? What’s the point? Genuine question. You did the deed, you committed the crime and that was okay. And then you stuck to that timeline. Sorry, not sorry, you have nobody to blame but yourself. And that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t be able to move on and change and make peace, that’s totally fine, but the way Old Sport sees it from the outside, there’s a lot of misplaced guilt. This is a story, right? … … even if Old Sport doesn’t like, part of him feels jealous. Afton lacked control over his body, but at least he had a soul, right? At least he HAS a kind of personality and sense of self. He can make himself into a consistent character, unlike Old Sport who has to pick and choose and never knows what to do- In his opinion, Afton needs to get a grip and be less ungrateful for the things he actually DOES have. Save the kids, kill the kids, whatever, protect your sense of self… but then at least be satisfied with your choices that came out of that sense of self. Guilt is a choice. Either regret and act or don’t and stay back.

When he woke up later, her head was on his chest. She was sleeping soundly.looking down he smiled at her, his fingers gently danced along her arm as his other hand brushed the hair out of her face. He felt his heart sore at how peaceful she looked. He missed looking at her like this. One of his favorite moments had played out just like this. He had been with her at her parents house and the sun had woken him up. Looking at her made him happy, made him want to make her happy. He was enjoying the quiet when the house phone rang and Ziggy began barking.

“Crap,” he whispered. Looking down she was still sound asleep when he gently moved from under her. The phone kept ringing until he reached the kitchen grabbing the cordless phone. “Hello?”

“Nikki? It’s Tommy…”

“What is it?” Nikki sighed and rubbed his eyes. He reached for an apple and bit into it.

“I...have you talked to (Y/n)?” Tommy asked. “I’ve been trying to get ahold of her and she’s not answering and…” Tommy didn’t know how much Nikki knew, but he didn’t want to think about that his sister could be laying dead on her apartment floor.

“I….” Nikki looked over at the guest room. “I’m not sure just try her cell phone and see if you can reach her.” Nikki breathed. He figured that (Y/n) would be able to call Tommy when she woke up.

‘I’ve tried. It goes straight to the generic voicemail she has.” Tommy sighed. “Nikki, if you hear from her, call me please. I just...I need to make sure she’s okay.” There was actual worry in Tommy’s voice.

“If I hear from her I’ll make sure she calls man,” Nikki sighed before hanging up. He went to his fridge and pulled out some ingredients to cook a meal for (Y/n). About ten minutes later, Ziggy went running to the guest room, hearing (Y/n) waking up. She came out a bit later, yawning and stretching.

“I’m sorry I slept so long.” She told Nikki as she made her way to the kitchen.

“You look like you needed it,” Nikki smiled at her. “You might want to call Tommy… he seemed worried about you.” he focused on the sauce for the pasta he was cooking.

“Oh. I’ll call him later.” She situated herself on a bar stool and watched Nikki. “A girl could get used to this.”

“One can only hope,” he put the sauce on low and stepped back. “So anything you need to do?”

“Not today. I’ll go into the office in the morning and see what’s going on.” She leaned her head on her hand and looked out the patio doors. Nikki watched her, tracing her to memory. He wasn’t sure how long this was going to last. He was fighting every bone in his body to take her to his room and worship her like when they first had sex. The memory filtering in and he had to shake himself out of it.  

“So I figure some spaghetti with meat sauce and a salad for dinner,” he cleared his throat and adjusted his pants discreetly. “A nice night in with Ziggy sounds nice right?”

“You’re gonna be there too, right?” (Y/n) teased him. “That sounds wonderful.” She bit her lip. She wanted to kiss him, but she figured he didn’t want her to, or he would have done it by now. Part of her was telling her that he only had invited her there to be nice. That part of her was her anxiety, and it loved to tell her that Nikki would never love her again.

Licking his lips he walked over to her, “I should give you a tour of the house.” he took her hand and led her off the stool making sure that the sauce wouldn’t burn. He led her past the kitchen and down a hallway to a small room full of basses. The one she gave him placed in a glass case on display. “So this is my bass room.” (Y/n) walked up to the case, touching it gently.

“You still have it?” She asked. He noticed her necklace from that Christmas around her neck.

“Yeah, I used it for Dr. Feelgood and then I… I put it in a case just to keep it in good condition,” He traced his fingers over the glass case and smiled. He looked at her necklace and placed his finger on it. “Nice to see you’re still wearing it.”

“The only time I didn’t wear it was a few days back in ‘87 when the chain broke.” She sighed. Glancing at the hand that was on the case, he saw a black cord tied to both ends of a black guitar pick with a red pentagram on it. ‘83 was in white lettering right above it. It looked very familiar to Nikki.

NIkki reached for her wrist and carefully looked at the pick, “that’s my pick.”

“Sorry. I found it in some stuff Tommy gave me and...I just liked it.” (Y/n) admitted. “Do... do you want it back?”

Nikki smiled and shook his head, “No… it looks good on you. I’m… I’m glad you have it to be honest.” he licked his lips his eyes on her lips. “Can I say something?” he looked into her eyes and stepped closer to her.

“Anything.” She whispered.

“I’ve been trying really hard not to just lift you up and take you to my room. I want to just pin you to a wall and kiss every inch of your body. But I’m scared.” he took a deep breath and caressed her cheek. “I’m scared I’m going to lose you again.”

“I’m here as long as you want me.” She leaned into his touch. “If you want to take your time, we can take our time. But just so you know,” She looked up into his eyes. “I’m okay with being pinned to the wall by you.”

Nikki leaned in and carefully guided her to an empty spot on the wall his lips locking with hers in a fierce kiss. (Y/n) wrapped her arms around his next and moaned as he kissed her deeper. She melted into him, not wanting the moment to be over. Nikki broke the kiss his forehead against hers. His thumbs caressed her cheeks.

“Please tell me I’m not in some high induced dream because I really don’t want it to be,” he whispered. “I want to stay clean and make you happy (Y/n). I want to be better for you.”

“I’m real.” She caressed his face. “I want us to be happy with each other again. No drugs...well, minus my prozac.” She smiled at him. She hadn’t joked or smiled in so long. “And as much as I really want to continue this, you have sauce on the stove.”

Nikki chuckled and smiled. “Ok sweet girl,” he breathed in her scent and kissed her forehead, “I’ll continue the tour after dinner.”

“That sounds wonderful.” She held his hand as they made their way back to the kitchen. It was so simple and peaceful. She hadn’t felt this relaxed in awhile, and she figured Nikki hadn’t as well. “This smells so good Nikki.”

“Took me awhile to get the recipe right,” he smiled. Grabbing a spoon he took a small bit of sauce and blew on it. “Taste.” (Y/n) took a bite and moaned.

“My god, this is delicious.” (Y/n) told him. “If this rockstar thing doesn’t work out, I bet you can score yourself a show on the Food Network.”

Nikki laughed, “I wouldn’t go that far.” he made sure the water was boiling before adding the pasta to it. “I would say another eight minutes and we are ready to eat. I’m going to set the table you relax and play with Ziggy.” he grabbed a table cloth and made his way to the small round table getting it ready for their dinner.

“I can help.” (Y/n) told him. “I feel like I’m being a bad guest.” She laughed.

“You get to relax because I say so,” Nikki stuck his tongue out at her and laughed. (Y/n) wanted to make a snappy remark about his tongue, but decided just to smile and shake her head while Ziggy rubbed up against her legs, wanting pets.

“Okay, okay.” (Y/n) laughed. “I got ya. Who’s a good boy?”

Nikki smiled staring at the way she played with Ziggy and committed it to his memory. The timer brought him out of his daze as he walked into the kitchen and combined the pasta with the sauce before placing it on the table.

“Dinner is served,” he called happily.  (Y/n) came in, kissing his cheek.

“Thank you Mr. Sixx. It smells wonderful.” (Y/n) took her seat at the table.

Nikki smiled as he served her her portion before serving himself and pouring them each a glass of water. Their conversation flowed easily once again with Nikki telling stories and recounting the better times of the tours. Times where he did genuinely have fun.

“Sounds like you had a lot of fun.” (y/n) said as she leaned back in her chair, full from the food. “That was so good. Thank you.”

“It was really no problem,” Nikki got up and began clearing the table. “Go ahead and just chill on the couch I’ll take care of this.”

“Nope.” She hopped up and made her way to the sink. “I got dishes. You cooked. Now shoo. I got this.” She smiled at him.

“(Y/n)...” he went to reach for the sponge.

“Nope.” She flicked a little water at him. “I got this.”

“Well, how about I dry while you wash?” he grabbed the dish towel. “You are a guest so you shouldn’t do all the work.”

“If you insist.” (Y/n) took to washing the dishes, smiling when it was all done.

Nikki led (Y/n) to the couch where he turned to look at her, “So… any funny stories I should know about?” he traced his finger against the back of her hand. “I know Vanessa has gone to see you so I’m sure you guys got into trouble every now and then.”

“We went to see Phantom of the Opera and I thought she was going to rush the stage because the guy playing the Phantom was hot.” (Y/n) laughed. “We went to a strip club and they were having heavy metal night.”

“Really? You in a strip club?” he leaned on the back of the couch and smiled. “Was it an all nude review ,” he chuckled.

“Maybe I was there to learn a thing or two.” She winked at him.

Nikki licked his lips and blushed, “that would be nice to see.”  he leaned in and placed his nose to hers. “I missed you (Y/n).”

“I missed you too Nikki.” She was about to kiss him when the doorbell rang.

Nikki groaned and got up walking to door. Ziggy jumped up on the couch and laid on (Y/n).  Tommy was on the other side of the door. When Nikki opened the door, the drummer looked up.

“Nikki, I’m really worried about (Y/n),” Tommy told him. He pushed his way into the house, freezing when he saw his sister sitting there. “(Y/n)...”

“Hey T-Bone.” (Y/n) smiled at him.

“But…” He looked at Nikki. “You told me you hadn’t talked to her!”

“Tommy, wait.” (Y/n) said, standing up and moving between them, just like that day Tommy found out and hit her on accident. “I just showed up. Nikki didn’t have a chance to call you.”

“Dude I swear I was making dinner and she knocked I let her in,” Nikki looked at (Y/n).

“I was fucking worried about you!” Tommy yelled at (Y/n). Nikki saw the way she cringed back.

“Tommy, calm down man. Please,” Nikki tried to reason with him.

“When you find out your sister tried to kill herself and then she doesn’t answer the phone, you start to get worried!” Tommy said. Nikki watched as her shoulders dropped.

“I…” She took off, running down the hallway away from them. Nikki turned and glared at the drummer.

“Get out,” he said calmly.

“Nik...I…” Tommy started.

“Tom, out. I’ll call you when she’s ready to talk to you,” he ran his hand across his face and sighed. Tommy nodded and left, feeling awful for what he had said to her. Nikki turned and went down the hallway she had went down. He looked in the guest room, but didn’t see her. That’s when he saw Ziggy laying outside the bass room, whimpering.

Taking a deep breath he knocked on the door to the bass room, “(Y/n)? It’s Nikki.”

“Is Tommy with you?” (Y/n) asked from her hiding spot in the corner of the room.

“I told him to leave,” Nikki peeked into the room and came in closing the door behind him making sure Ziggy came with him. The dog ran up to (Y/n) and placed his head on her lap whimpering.

“I’m sorry I ran off.” (Y/n) whispered. She looked up at Nikki. “I didn’t know how to react. If I hadn’t told you what had happened, Tommy would’ve…”

“He had no right to do that,” Nikki pulled her in for a hug after sitting next to her on the floor. “It was your story to tell not his.” She rested her head on his shoulder, curling into him. She felt safe with him, and it made him feel good. He just wished that it would’ve been because of a thunderstorm or something, not her asshole older brother.

“I’m sorry.” She whispered to him.

“You have nothing to be sorry for,” he kissed the top of her head and held her close. “How about we take Ziggy with us and go out for ice cream?” he whispered.

“That sounds nice.” She smiled.

FNAF Full Timeline + Events

Been wanting to make this type of post for a while. Below will be the full timeline and events that I think happened. Starting from the beginning with the diner to the end with Simulator. Has mainly my theories as well as other people’s theories too about all the games.

Timeline: 

FNAF 4/Diner, FNAF 2/Sister Location, FNAF 1, FNAF 3, and finally the Simulator game.

1. FNAF 4/Diner:

- The original animatronics are here. Including the springlock suits. 

- The child might be the bite of 83 victim since FNAF 2/SL take place in 87 (If I remember right the check at the end of 2 had 87 in the date.) 

- Henry might be the father of the boys since it looked like there was a girl’s room too so it’s safe to say Charlie could’ve been their sister that was still alive at the time. 

- William definitively was there since you could see him in one of the minigames between nights. Whether or not he already killed some kids....who knows? 

- Sometime after the bite happened and the kid died, the diner closed down. 

2. FNAF 2/Sister Location: 

- I think Henry opened up the second game’s pizzeria and kept the older animatronics in the back. (The withered. And even though we didn’t see it, Spring Bonnie was there too.)

- He mainly ran that place with William running SL.

- Before the events of SL, William may have grew jealous of Henry and that’s why he killed his daughter behind the pizzeria. Then he killed 5 more kids using the spring Bonnie in the back (Or Fredbear?) He also tampered with the Toy Animatronics. 

- Charlie (Henry’s daughter) stayed at the pizzeria by possessing the puppet and gave ‘life’ to the 5 kids by giving them power to possess the older animatronics. And remained there to watch over them. 

- I have a theory that Michael (Will’s son) is the night guard in every game even though it said Jeremy went to the day shift in the 2nd game. And he took on the name of all the original 5 victims (except Susie)  Michael was for sure involved with the business and all the tragedies somehow.

- One of the Toy’s caused the bite of 87 (Probably Mangle) And after that it closed down. Probably for other reasons too (I haven’t played the 2nd game in a while and don’t feel like rewatching someone play it right now so this is pure memory) 

SISTER LOCATION:

- Sometime after the original 5 were killed, Will’s daughter Elizabeth was killed by Baby (Since all the Funtimes were designed to kill kids) 

- Then she possessed her

- Haven’t decided if Eggs is actually someone we know (William, the kid’s brother, etc) but they were the one scooped. And I think they somehow re-possessed their body after forcing Ennard out. 

- Eventually the Funtimes forced Baby out and one by one the remaining few died leaving only FT Freddy left. Hence why he is Molten Freddy (not Ennard) in Simulator. 

- I’ll probably add more to this part later 

FNAF 1:

- Takes place in the early 90s. The kids souls have been moved to the animatronics in that game and are possessing them throughout it. 

- Eventually William comes and destroys the animatronics  (possibly after it had already closed down at some point? In the mini games in 3. it looked run down with a leaky roof and stuff) 

- Kids souls are free from them and depending if you did the ‘Happiest Day’ during the 3rd game, they are free after watching Will kill himself in the spring Bonnie suit.

- Really don’t have much to add for this one

FNAF 3: 

- 30 years later so roughly 2021

- Phone Dude goes to the older locations and gets the suits and stuff for the Fazbear Frights place. 

- Could be playing as Michael since we never learned the guard’s name. Which would mean Will is trying to kill his son. 

- Despite completing the ‘Happiest Day’ minigame, Charlie/The Puppet is still there, knowing that the nightmare isn’t over yet since Will survived the fire.However, all the other kids were able to move on by that point. 

- Same with 1, don’t have much to add for this one. 

Simulator

- It’s a actual simulation. You are buying/printing/etc but the pizzeria isn’t real. It’s just sounds and smells that are like one. And it has to have them to trick the player (Michael?) and the animatronics. 

- Henry knew he had to finally end the nightmare so he called for the animatronics to go there as a trick. To trap and destroy them.

- He created Lefty to trap his daughter so she wouldn’t escape and could finally be free and move on.

- Springtrap is there because he knows that is William and wants to send him to Hell already

- He knows Baby is Elizabeth and wants to set her free too. (Odd how Baby and Springtrap never spoke to each other) 

- IDK who Molten Freddy might be but he was finally set free as well. 

- In the end, the building burns down and Henry basically commits suicide due to not leaving the building and also technically murders the player

I'll reveal this, this morning I thought of a new character in some regard who could be this new owner.

Let me just say he's William's younger brother and he's in charge of both the Freddy Fazbear's Pizza and Circus Baby's Entertainment And Rental.

Thing is William didn't talk about him much. Especially guess I'll reveal this.......this is an idea. Some how a new and improved Freddy's was made in 1987 outside of Hurricane, Utah.....and William was in charge of that.

Okay I'm being a bit weird. I'm also really wondering if I should go with the idea of Jeremy Fitzgerald Sr which is Jeremy's dad. Kind of like how Lynn Loud Sr named her daughter Lynn Loud Jr in The Loud House. But you don't hear the Sr or Jr a lot.

I still need to think of how to go with this timeline. Because I've seen AU's with some folks going wild by mixing up the games into one era I think.

Especially since Scott did so with that novels, guessing I'm gonna try my own too.

I just remembered what else I wanted to say. Considering The Fourth Closet. Might as well retcon what's behind it or whatever.

Think of this AU as a weird movie adaptation. Yet it's a sequel to The Silver Eyes.

I think I'll end this by saying Charlie would be pissed finding out somehow a Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria was going on throughout those 10 years from 1985 to 1995. Even after her father committed suicide.

Honestly shit thinking about this and her interactions with other characters. This sounds much more intriguing and engaging than what I have heard of the batshit insanity I heard that happened with The Twisted Ones and The Fourth Closet.

Now what's some what the biggest challenge is getting a major villain in this AU along with some killer animatronics. Basically that first part meaning a 2nd Purple Guy possibly.

Remember those theories of Purple Guy and Pink Guy back in the day? I'm being serious. While it's been disproven it's just interesting to think about. I feel like sharing a video later with you guys. Think I should stop with this reblog and head home.

My Complete Current Views of the FNAF Lore (1-SL)

I don’t have any up-to-date mega theories about the FNAF lore post-SL, so i figured this would be worth typing up.

Please note that this is not a theory post, but rather a very straight-forward retelling of how I currently view the lore - therefore, there won’t be any evidence or anything provided. If you want to know my rationale behind something, just let me know.

Pre-Games

So this guy named Henry (discussed in TSE) partners with a man named William Afton. Together, they open a place called Fredbear’s Family Diner, with two robots made by Henry - Fredbear and Spring Bonnie.

Henry has two fraternal twins - Mike Schmidt and a girl (name unknown - the Litlte Girl in SL). William Afton kidnaps the little girl while in the Spring Bonnie suit and raises her alongside his own son, Michael Afton, who he most likely neglects.

Fredbear’s shuts down due to the incident and Henry opens another restaurant, Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza, with four new animatronics and the old springsuits from the last location. He also adopts another child by the name of Jeremy Fitzgerald.

A sister location to Freddy’s opens around this time, an early version of CBEAR. It shuts down after multiple springlock failures (Spring Chica, part of Chica’s Party World, was probably the faulty one). This restaurant contained an animatronic named Circus Baby - pre-Ennard. Something causes Afton to dismantle it, and he uses the pieces to built four new (child-killing) animatronics, including a new Circus Baby for “his“ daughter. A Funtime Fredbear may have also killed a child at the location, with the Bitten Child witnessing it.

A second sister location, Circus Baby’s Pizza World, attempts to open in ‘83. However, Afton shuts it down after Circus Baby kills his daughter when she visits her alone. She possesses Baby. This is also the year that Afton starts his experiments in FNAF 4. It’s also possible he himself died around this time, which is when he discovers his “immortality“.

A year or two later, four children are murdered in Freddy’s by Afton (possibly people the Bitten Child was friends with, considering how he treats his plushies), and their bodies are hidden in the animatronics. Freddy’s shuts down and is left to rot.

Afton moves his operation underground as a rental service, becoming Circus Baby’s Entertainment and Rentals. It is the sister location to another pizzeria Afton opens, the second Fredbear’s Family Diner. It contains a new Fredbear and Spring Bonnie (purple accents instead of black) and merch of the old characters.

Sister Location

Afton then sends his son Michael down to help free his Sister’s soul. Michael succeeds in finding her and helping her escape at the cost of his own life. However, because Michael is “immortal“, he possesses his own corpse after death. He hides in the shadows for the time being. It’s also possible the Bitten Child saw him at one point and became terrified of him, which leads to Shadow Bonnie (see FNAF 2/FNAF 3 section).

Afton gives the Fredbear Plush to the Bitten Child (remember how it was still on his desk in SL?), using the walkie-talkie in it to manipulate the kid. The Sister, now put back together, is freed from Ennard and gains her afterlife mask. She decides not to pass on yet however, instead possessing and speaking through the Fredbear Plush (not how it appears in the gutter in 4′s minigames, which is where Ennard escapes to) in order to take care of the Bitten Child, who is severely bullied by her twin brother.

The FNAF 4 minigame events then happen during the summer, with the Brother’s bullying becoming so severe that he shoves the Bitten Child’s head in Fredbear’s jaws, causing the Bite of ‘87 on his birthday. Henry likely commits suicide or was murdered by Afton around this time. The child lives for a few months, albeit comatose. The Brother speaks to him one more time before death, and the Sister vows to put him back together. He, much like the Sister, breaks into five.

FNAF 2

The Bitten Child has a final dream that leads up to his death. He pictures his room as an office (note the single entrance in the middle) and himself as an employee, hearing his brother’s voice each night just like he did on Night 6. The Sister also appears to him in the form of the Puppet (she’s good at pretending) - mimicking the Bitten Child himself in appearance, and with a mask signifying her freed soul. Jeremy also has a mask, but it’s a fake one that only succeeds in tricking animatronics not based off his family (hence why W. Foxy and the Puppet don’t fall for it).

The entire game is basically the Bitten Child’s fears when alive (you don’t actually feel fear without your frontal lobe, so the main emphasis here is on panic). Shadow Bonnie represents what the child saw “in the shadows“ that scared him so badly, and it crashes the game (ends the nightmares) because the Bitten Child would learn there wasn’t anything to be afraid of if he confronted his fear instead of hiding from it.

The minigames are a stylization of real-world events: Take Cake was the Sister’s death, Go Go Go! was the original five killings, and Give Gifts was the Bitten Child dying and possessing the Nightmares. The only game that is purely false is Chase the Puppet - based off of the five kids he met on Night 3 (this is why it plays differently than the others).

By night 6, we see the effects of the Bite, which is what Golden Freddy represents here (based off the Fredbear heads in the parts and service room on Night 4). Shadow Freddy is the exact same spirit, a recolor of GF meant to represent the child’s death. Note how “Phone Guy“ starts to sound shaky here, and how he’s the one to tell Jeremy to stay close the animatronics at tomorrow’s birthday party.

The sound of the grandfather clock in the Bitten Child’s old house marks the end of each night - and on Night 7, he passes away (the song that soothes the Puppet is My Grandfather’s Clock, a song about a clock dying when its owner dies). While this was your summer job because it surrounds the Bite that happened in the summer, the paycheck is dated for November of ‘87 - the date the child died.

While that was going on, the Sister/the Puppet confronts the Brother in his dreams about killing the Bitten Child as he succumbs to guilt - which is where the FNAF 2 cutscenes come in. These minigames mark the creation of the FNAF 1 Golden Freddy we know, IT’S MEs and all. Note how she’s dong to the Brother the same thing she did to “William“ in TSE - as they’re both killers refusing to take responsibility for their actions. The GF we see in these cutscenes is not the GF in FNAF 1, but rather another form of the Sister - a modified version of the Fredbear Plush, which is why it disappears and is replaced by the Puppet.

FNAF 1

Immediately after Jeremy’s death, Mike beings to completely repress the incident and even his memory of his brother entirely. Because of this, he starts having nightmares where he pictures himself as the Bitten Child, hence why the animatronics act like the bullies here.

Phone Guy is basically the Brother’s subconscious - note how nervous he is here post-Bite compared to FNAF 2. On Night 4, you learn that he was killed by GF (the Sister in this case) - just like she killed Michael Afton. Note also how this lines up with the FNAF 2 cutscenes ending on Night 4.

Phone Guy then dies and becomes FNAF 1 GF (once again, note the Michael parallels with the whole “becoming an empty suit” thing) - he’s being haunted by his guilt. It’s literally the Brother - IT’S ME is both a declaration of guilt and a very literal statement, which is also why it appears outside of Pirate’s Cove (Foxy mask). It only appears/is summoned when Mike starts feeling guilty (signaled by Freddy ripping his head off to boot), and it only goes away when you ignore it. It crashes the game/ends the dreams because Mike would remember what he did if he confronted it, thus ending the nightmares.

But he only continues to repress his memories, and at the end of the dream he completely forgets about his younger brother. The paycheck is once again dated for the current date - the date the Brother died, November 13th, 1987, just like in FNAF 2. (Also note that this was stated to be your summer job on Steam, much like FNAF 2.)

Finally, note how the room layout looks identical to Afton’s Private Room, and how the Night 5 phone call excerpt happens to mention laboratory experiments. This could indicate that the Brother was already kidnapped and lead through the Private Room to get the FNAF 4 bedroom, or the Sister could’ve been trying to warn him about what was going to happen. Either way, this is where the inspiration for 1′s layout and gameplay comes from.

FNAF 4

Sometime shortly after 1, Afton kidnaps the Brother and starts his second round of experiments - experiments most likely meant to draw out trauma in order to figure out the “joy of creation“. He builds the main 4 Nightmares and Plushtrap (which is why they have similar endos to the Funtimes and other design choices, like 5 fingers) and has them try to kill the Brother.

(It’s also possible that the Bitten Child posses the main 4 Nightmares, and the Sister possesses Plushtrap. This is why Plushtrap won’t kill you - the Sister doesn’t want you to die, just help the Bitten Child).

Everything about the experiment is meant to draw out the trauma from the Bite - making the Brother think he’s a young helpless child, making him think he’s asleep during the nights, making the Nightmare’s behaviors mimic the bullies’, ect. Hallucinogenic gas may have been used to influence the Brother, which could be why he sees himself as a child and what causes him to see the hospital equipment. The nights this time around aren’t based off the grandfather clock from his house that were in his dreams, but simply the IRL alarm clock on top of the dresser.

On Night 5 and 6, the Bitten Child himself takes over, taking the form of Nightmare and Nightmare Fredbear, the stomach-mouth having come from his memory of a kid being “eaten” by Funtime Fredbear. Nightmare, representing the Bitten Child’s death, makes the Brother lose his memories - he’s repressed the Bitten Child’s death so much that he literally can’t remember it anymore. This is also why the FNAF 1 phone call (backwards and lower-pitched GF style to boot) plays in the background - his guilt’s so repressed he can’t remember it now.

That’s where the box comes in. Afton either left it on purpose for the Brother to find to create more trauma, or the Brother somehow found it himself. Either way, the box contained something that jogged the Brother’s memory of the Bite and forced him to confront the facts. This causes the Brother to want to help the Bitten Child instead of ignoring him again - he can’t ignore him anymore.

It is around this time that William attempts to dismantle the old animatronics (or possibly even the Nightmares if the minigames are symbolic). Shadow Freddy/the fifth piece, lures out the animatronics so they can be “killed again” - SF does represent the child’s death, after all. The Bitten Child, now freed from the animatronics, gets William killed in the Springlock suit, which allows him to find a bit of rest for now. The Brother’s “nightmares“ end with William’s death.

FNAF 3

30 years or so later, Fazbear’s Fright opens IRL, a horror attraction based off the events of Freddy’s. They find William’s corpse and plan to use it in the attraction. The Brother’s nightmares resurface at the news, this time facing off against the man who killed his family and tried to do the same to him (the two are foils, after all). The room layout is based off of the experimentation room, and Springtrap and the Phantoms are based off of Fun with Plushtrap, as is the gameplay. The need to have a ventilation system may have come from the possible use of hallucinogenic gas in 4.

Both the Sister and the Brother reappear. The Brother only appears as Shadow Freddy, a memory of his death waiting to be freed, while the Sister once again appears as the Puppet. The Sister’s Phantom Puppet hallucination, mimicking her dad’s Phantoms, does the same thing to the Brother as it did in the FNAF 2 cutscenes - a casual reminder of what will happen if he doesn’t finish helping the Bitten Child. (She also may influence the other Phantom’s appearances, as she’d know them from the Bitten Child’s dreams.)

Throughout the nights, the Brother reaches out to the Bitten Child and helps to put him back together. Each of the hidden minigames relates back to the reasons why the Bitten Child can’t pass on - fear of people, fear of the animatronics, and, of course, the Bite itself.

BB’s Air Adventure has representations of the Toys in it with the silhouettes. Mangle’s Quest has a silhouette of the Puppet (posed like the Bitten Child as that’s who the Sister’s mimicking) as that was her toy. It’s relationship to the Sister is also probably why it unlocks the cakes - it’s helping her to put him back together as well. Chica’s Party has representations of the Bitten Child’s plushies in it - the final cupcake moving and following you like the Fredbear Plush.

Stage 01 is fixing the Bite - FNAF 1 Golden Freddy, the Brother’s guilt, frees the Foxy-mask piece. The missing child in one of the rooms implies his twin sister’s kidnapping. Finally, Shadow Bonnie, the apex of the Bitten Child’s fears, provides the last main cake - as what is seen in the shadows is misunderstood. (If Shadow Bonnie is indeed Michael, this would also explain the kindness, as well as the glitchiness - he is neither dead nor alive).

The Sister finishes putting him back together by providing the last cake, and they pass on together in the Happiest Day (tomorrow is another day, after all). However, the Sister hangs back just long enough to burn down Fazbear’s Fright in a final attempt to kill William (hence why her mask fell slower). The Brother’s now put back together himself, and won’t be having any more nightmares.

Meanwhile, Michael Afton vows to find his father, having survived the fire and left Fazbear’s Fright - leaving us on the potential for another game.
